IMPORTANT: my taktiks are used best as guidelines feel free to try new stuff



The ork warboss is without a doubt one of the best options in the ork codex and, if used properly can cause doom to your enemies.

WEAPON OPTIONS:

the best options are the powerklaw and the big choppa, heres why.

Powerklaw: Always count as having a strength 10 power weapon. You'd have to be insane not to use this thing, yes it does make you initiative 1 but ITS A STRENGTH 10 POWER WEAPON!!!
Aim for your oponents big tanks like landraiders and vindicators.


Big choppa: i would personally prefer a powerklaw over a big choppa, as you strikeas initiative 4 but your not ignoring armour for marines and such.




OTHER OPTIONS:


always give your warboss a cybork body. A warboss without a CB is a walking killpoint

An attack squig is good if you have the right upgrades


HOW TO KILL DA BOSS:

the best way to kill a warboss is to instant death him before he gets to hit back this can be done by blowing up his transport and hitting him with vindicators.


WARGEAR:

attack squig: attack squigs are very good if you take the right weapon options, for eggsample (lol eggs) a warboss takes on a landraider that has moved twelve with his powerklaw. He gets 5 attacks on the charge so the odds are against him as he needs sixes to hit, but hes only got 5 dice. an attack squig means he has six strength 10 attacks against it (statisticly he should at least get 1 hit). Not to bad if your facing infantry either, more attacks means more umies smushed

eavy armour: if you have points to spare give him eavy armour a 4+ armoursave means that 50 percent of your enemies wounds will bounce right off him. although this is not essential

warbike:this is really good if youve got nob bikers already in your army DONT DRIVE HIM AROUND ON HIS OWN!. You'd be suprised at how many people do this.

mega armour; this is good and bad as it slows him and his unit down considerably but it gives him a 2+ armour save. Give him this if he is going around the board with meganobz, and then give him transport such as a trukk. In that case he will not be effected by slow and purposfull as much
