Are you gonna talk about the new ork planes coming out this month? Because I can't choose betwen the different weapons.

Good explanation of the firing lanes and line of sight. You misspoke saying it was an assault d3, instead of heavy d3.

Dan. You are the man. I think you are the best. I started an Ork army because of you. This is not supposed to be as creepy as it has come out.

you must choose first before rolling for how many shots

PunishedOne (Over a year ago): - delete
Yes, Lootas need to declare a target before they roll the amount of shots.

This once again proves my theory you can solve any problem by throwing enough bullets at it

Hi Dan, I'm not even an Ork player but I love watching your tactica vids. I particularly like how you actually show us on the gaming table how each unit can make the most of its abilities. I hope Matt revisits his tactica vids with this in mind because I collect Tyranids and Necrons .

lootas make things go boom

@xsxsl1999: The Dakkajet is by far the best, an expensive unit with a suicide is not good. Neither is one that has to get really close. You'll get shot up and loose the plane real easy.

If you're going with them go dakkajet and stick close to a BW with a mek KFF for cover save.

lootas. the more attention they get, the more boyz to strike back. the less attention, the more shots they dish out

First you choose a target, then you roll to determine the number of shots [ Ork Codex p. 43 ]

I like to max the squad out and attach a Big Mek to them with a Shokk Attack Gun. I try to put them in tall ruins so they get LOS and cover saves. They're a favorite target for my opponents, the cover save helps them survive a few turns. One time I had to move them in from the table edge. They were able to get into cover, but they were an inch away from the front of ruins on the ground floor. My opponent sent his squad of genestealers to assault, but he didn't realize they were an inch inside cover, so his assault came short by that inch. I was able to shoot them up my turn.

Lootas are the best unit in the Ork arsenal in my opinion!

These guys are an absolute must for an ork player... I like having the blob of 15 or 2 squads of 10, but just think about the amoun t of dakka you can throw at your opponents if ya fielded 3 squads of 15 lootas! Up to 135 shots equals an orky good time!
