Really cool guys.
I like to see every part of the battle but don't really like waiting around. We tend to banter in between moves haha.
What would make it perfect, is if you had commentary from both players as to what they were doing that moment, thoughts going through their head any hilarious points not rendered in the video ect.
I think if you did do these better they may become more comprehensive and at the same time, more concise, than the OG batreps.

I like the idea but I'm not really feeling it. What would be cool is something like you show a picture of the table in normal bat reps at the end of every turn or in your normal bat reps you switch off to this angle for a little bit as you narrate then go back to normal.

I like it, it's nice and quick. However it might help if you put in subtitle thigno's that explain what's happening.

Really like the idea. Polish it a little bit (turn counter, music, etc.) and it'll be awesome!

Also, there are some things that don't translate well, such as vehicle damage. Specifically, Immobilized and armament destroyed.

And it would be nice to see it from a bird's eye view rather than a steep angle. Making it Top-down will make models more visible to your audience and (I imagine) will be somewhat reminiscent of the old Batreps of 2nd and 3rd edition that games workshop used to publish in white dwarf and their codices.

I like it. I think you should consider adding subtitles to offer (very brief) explanation.

and could you speed it up another 2x or 3x? At 10 minutes long it feels like it drags a little. It would be cool to see the movement and the models removed at a speed that would be like a real battle.

I.E. Dreadknight charges in, Necrons Launch counter-assault, Dreadknight is removed. Literally that fast.

Honestly I wasn't feeling it. I really prefer the batrep style you guys use already (Beat Matt, Banter, etc.)since it draws you into the highs and lows of the game along with the players. I just couldn't get in to watching an entire game with no commentary.

I like the concept and execution of this video. A few pointers, having even a small narration would be good, or another cam angle that it can switch to to make it more interesting. Or some annotations written on the screen "deployment" "GK turn 1" etc.

Personally, I say that this is a good idea.

Although, I want to know who's turn it is through the whole thing.

I think the time-lapse was a little too fast. A little slower would be nice, because right now it is hard to tell what is going on at times.

As someone said, subtitles seems like a nice idea.

I suggest not using only one song as a background to keep people from hearing the same thing over and over again.

There are more things, but keep it up and make a few adjustments.

This is a cool idea!
I also liked the timelapse of Matt glueing all those Necrons and parenting his daughter with a child book!

How to improve this? Well, add turn counter and Score/Objective counters, leaving them on the screen all time and updating at the right time, like this:

Objective/Kill Points
Necron 3
Tyranids 2

Round 2
Necron Turn 1

No need to specify phases.

I think people are confused about this.

Those complaining about the lack of comments - this BATREP was ALREADY COMMENTED ON. This is the BATREP that was posted a couple weeks ago, Necron vs Grey Knights. If you want the comments - go there and watch them!

This BATREP is just a fun thing to watch, it blasts through the whole battle in one fell swoop.

i agree add turn counter but besides, that i for one would love to see these added to the battle reports. its like a quick little video summary.

It's a neat idea, but I watch the videos for the commentary. So, the time lapsed video just doesn't do much for me.

Maybe if you dropped the music and added some quick commenting on what's going on.. definitely comment on big events that occur, that might be neat. I'd definitely try that and see how we like it
