i played a dawn of war battle against dark eldar it was 2 dark eldar players vs me with tau and my friend with orks so we had a well balanced force he is great in combat i am great at shooting yet we got murdered by the dark eldar
ohhh well mybe my list was a bit bad but one of the people in the battle had another match with me and my mate and i did almost take down a salamanders terminator army on my own my friends orks got wiped out by a a bit of shooting from a tactical squad and then close combat with the terminators so i just kept moving my tau back a forward lost a tank but killed about 15 teminators that could of murdered me so i was left with taking out 2 tactical squad but the battle ended before i could finish them but i knew i would win because from what i remember i still had one hammerhead and about 3-4 squads of fire warriors

You should take the character that makes the board difficult terrain, if he moves, he can get immobalized, which takes away his speed advantage. I don't have the codex though, so I dont know who it is, but i know its in there

If you attach a cryptek with the despair to you Deathmarks you can get a free re-Deepstrike per movment phase... Food for thought

Probably not a good idea to deploy the Deathmarks in the bastion. They aren't snipers, they are short ranged, and must get as close to the target unit as possible.
