Here is my new gaming table. I'll try to explain as best as I can what I used.
Materials: 6 foot sheet of MDF or Ply wood (not to sure)
2 sheets: 2inchs by 5 feet (MDF or Ply)
4 sheets: 2 inches by 3 feet (MDF or Ply)
2 sheets: 2inches by 6 feet (MDF or Ply)
1 sheet: 2feet by 2feet (MDF or Ply)
(this sheet will become the corners, which if you have the tools can become cupholders. This is optional, if you dont want the corners then make the 2nd and 3rd sheets listed a foot longer.)
Optional: The gaming mat is optional, instead you can use flock or the rocky slate basing stuff

.
Stain: I used a dark stain it makes the board appear a lot like a nice piece of furniture I think
Legs: I had originally planned to buy legs for the table, you could just as easily but some screw on / foldable legs for your table. Instead mine will be placed snuggly on another table's top.
Price: The wood cost about 90-100$ (canadian)
Stain cost: 10-15$
Battle mat (optional) cost: 35-40$ (depending on where you buy it)
Total: Roughly 130-150$
Also i'm sorry that the dimensions are in imperial, I like metric but my Dad's an old fashion wood worker. (like's himself the imperial system)
