I'll agree with Pindsay in the fact that Devastators are great with Plasma Cannons. I wouldn't go chopping off your Sternguards Powerfist, just say it's a boltgun only model. Though there is a section here for army lists, you'll find that the greats like Ronin, Ziggy etc. are on the forums, and will have better advice.

I updated it so have another look,and again tell me what you think. I mixed the preds weapons so that I could take a tank out one turn and some troops next turn.

uh well predators suck and personally i think devastators with their plasma cannons absolutely own everything they touch. so id suggest using devastators instead of predator

Okay ditch Captain and powerfist I'll have 145 free points. Get drop pod for Dread and I'll have 100 pts.2 Rhinos is 70 pts.Thats 30 points.Ugh where did that codex go? When I find the codex I'll re-read it and put up another list.

Think I'll ditch the Captain.About the powerfist on the Sternguard,its metal,think I'll cut it off and replace it with a normal hand.

Eh, not great, may want to add more specialised roles to your Tactical squads than just the generic combo.Ditch the second H.Q. he's pointless, get rhinos for the Tactical Squads. Ditch the sternguard Powerfist, if they are charging, you're using them wrong. Their extra attack is only for their defence if their position is overrun. Take a drop pod for the Dreadnought to utilize this close range configuration. I'll assume your heavy support is a Predator Tank, it's a mixed role tank, that configuration is alright to an extent, personnaly I'd go either all Lascannons or Autocannon and Heavy Bolters. I'll expand if needed, these are just the first things to do, at your discretion, of course.

too many points in HQ for a 1500 pt list. try to get more troops in, its better for killpoints and for capture and control.
