I used quite a lot of glue that I watered down (half-half). But another thing that you can do (I did that with my 2'x2') tile is to use latex paint instead (you can get some leftover latex paint in Black, Grey, Brown or Green), be generous with the paint and sprinkle your flocking right away (before it dries)
