he mat .. a little tip i dont know if it helps but when it comes to eye`s painting i use a Davinci 0 brush from the Nova Synth serie they are just great .. Greatings from Austria ( no Kanguru`s)

I think you should get ur necron army alot bigger so when it's time for the MWG apoc. game you can use them. And get a MONOLITH!

p.s. I am also starting a necron army but i have to wait till christmas. Looking forward to your batreps.

Wash does not cover details... it just darkens the base color. Start with a lighter base color to compensate, then you get better shadows because you are not watering down the wash. This also cuts down the need for as much highlights and speeds up your painting... especially if you have the same wash. Do all you base coats, wash, then flock the base... done.
