Math Hammer

Mathema Maleus is a program I made using a user-friendly program making thingy called Quest. It makes certain calculations that relate to Warhammer 40K*. If you want to see if it's a good idea for you unit to assault that other unit? Or how much damage they will take from getting fired upon by some other unit? Given the required information Mathema Maleus will let you know the outcome. Not only that, but if you don't happen to have the seventy-something dice on hand to roll for a whole horde, Mathema Maleus will virtually roll them for you.

*It may work for Warhammer Fantasy, but I really don't know for sure.

Key Features:
- Calculate the odds of victory in a "unit vs unit" system.
- Simulate the very same odds in rolling virtual dice.
- Certain special rules like Twin-linked and Rending Included!
- Perhaps later versions will support armour value (vehicles) and BS 6+ and maybe even the ability to save calculations so you can refer to them.
Please send me feedback on this, either something I've gotten wrong, or something I can improve upon, or ideas for new features. Perhaps Warmail is the best medium. Or just on the comments.

This is just the first version and needs feedback. The link will take you to media fire where you can download the install file simply called "setup.exe" Sounds generic, didn't bother to change it.

If you need help getting it to even work either the link or installing the thing, tell me right away.

Now this may not help any more, but I error 5 occurs when an "argument probably exceeds the range of permitted values" which I can only assume means some number or variable in the programming is giving some goofy answer, which I think would usually occur inside the program where certain values were change, not when loading the game. Odd...

@Svolash: Aarg! Ummm, I'm no techy, but I think I have seen that errer message before when testing this out. This may be because the program wasn't installed properly or sometihng. I assume you reinstalled it a couple times just to be sure.

And thi happened when you clicked on the game to open it right? Not "in-program"?

just for funsies i typed in a rediculous amount of attacks somewhere of arounf 9000000 and my computer solved it 3minutes later

Its a good start idk if I will use it. I suggest adding Ap, str, toughness,...ect. also you can not add 2 special rules
