I have some halogen work lights that I think are 200-250W. Do you think parchment paper is safe on that?

I totally agree with Mr. Rabbit, grease proof paper is equivalent to wax paper.

I have become increasingly interested in trying to get a video blog going and this has been very helpful. The whole series. I wanted to try and get more members and traffic to my club's page as well and I think making a video section would help out immensely. So thanks Matt and keep the tuts on this subject coming, Learning lots.

Turns out my HD camera doesn't have white balance. I'm about to start making actual painting videos, but I need to do something about the lighting first.

@emmceeandrew: Greaseproof paper and Baking paper are not the same (speaking as a chef...). Greaseproof paper is generally a brown colour and would not be suitable (plus it gets really brittle when it gets hot, so will probably fall apart).

Baking paper/Baking parchment/Parchment paper are all the same, but Greaseproof is different from them.

I'd add some sort of warning about people taping paper to their lights, fires aren't fun...

It's called Greaseproof paper locally here in the UK.

well my only problem is that my tripod is a gorlilla pod which is amazing but my camera is not compatible so i "made" it compatible and no if keeps spinning on the nail and i cant get to to look at me

the set up wouldnt be a problem for me, but the issue i would have is that i tend to paint with my models close to my chest , its a wierd habbit.
