so after waiting around 3-4 months my legion of everblight FINALLY arrived! I did manage to get another game in against the same player after this with the rest of my army but the store closed before we finished and my camera batteries died

well it is about time i started posting content again! i would have made it a video but i barely had enough batteries to take 10 pictures i have played warmahordes with other armies before but not legion which is my main army or at least will be, but i am still sorta new to the game so some rule might have been gotten wrong that we discovered when the game ended but nothing to big.

and its been a while since i made a batrep so i may be a little rusty (but expect more to come)

well lets begin!

LISTS: (standered battle box)

and one last thing we are using real rules NOT quick start.

DEPLOYMENT:



LEGION TURN 1:
carnivean moves up behind the church. A single shredder hides behind a hedge soley for damage transfer. the remaining shredders become meat sheilds for Lylyth as she advances.

CRYX TURN 1:
Slayer and Denegrah move down my left flank to kill the shredder for damage transfer. His herd of chicken bots run forward in a straight line.

LEGION TURN 2:
Carnivean moves into the open to use its breath attack damaging one of the deathrippers destroying its arc-nodes and movment. shredder break away to attack the bone chickens doing no damage and Lylyth moved toward the carnivean and took a shot at the defiler doing 8 damage destroying its arc-node.

CRYX TURN 2:
Slayer and Denegrah dont move for one reason or another. Defiler shoots and almost kills one of my shredders leaving it with 3 points if spirit left. Defilers do decent damage to shredders but dosent cripple any.



LEGION TURN 3:
Carnivean charges the nearest death ripper and uses its "assault" specile rule to do some heavy damage the farthest death ripper and do minimal damage to the defiler, Carnivean continues with its melee combat and destroys all but 2 boxes on the deathripper. Shredder manage to do little damage on the furthest deathripper. Lylyth again shoots the defiler and misses with double 1's.

CRYX TURN 3:
Slayer and Denegrah run towards the damage transfer shredder. Defiler kills one of the 3 shredders in close combat. The furthest deathripper from the carnivean severly damages the other shredder, the closest deathripper to the carnivean fails to do any damage.



LEGION TURN 4:
The damage transfer shredder runs away from the Slayer. Carnivean kills the deathripper closest to him. Lylyth miss's the defiler. remaining shredder's fail to do any damage to the chickens.

CRYX TURN 4:
Defiler kills one of the shredders and slightly hurts the carnivean. Deathripper kills the last of the 3 shredders. slayer and Denegrah continue to chase the damage transfer shredder and are now in my flank!



LEGION TURN 5:
Carnivean charges straight at Denegrah leaving her with 2 boxes and she flee's. Shredder continues to run away. Lylyth moves away from the chicken bots and takes a shot at the defiler crippling it and almost killing it.

CRYX TURN 5:
Chicken bots chase after Lylyth, Defiler tries to shoot Lylyth but misses. Denegrah moves further away and heals hear self 4 health. slayer charges into the carnivean performing its combo-attack, boosting attack and damage and severly crippling the carnivean.



LEGION TURN 6:
Carnivean boosts its attack and damage on its bite and buys an additional bite attack delivering a crippling blow to the slayer but not killing it. Lylyth moves away from the Chicken bots and takes a shot at the defiler killing it!

CRYX TURN 6:
Slayer boosts the attack and damage of his last arm and manages to kill the Carnivean. Feeling safe now that the carnivean is dead, Denegrah move closer to get into the fight agaun after healing another 4 health. deathripper attacks Lylyth but misses.



LEGION TURN 7:
With all her warbeasts except for a single shredder, Lylyth makes one last desperate attempt for victory! she reaves the 4 fury from the carnivean and moves away from the death ripper and boosts the attack and damage rolls of her bow and shoots at Denegrah! With 2 6's and a 5 on the damge roll! Lylth completly oblitorates Denegrah with a single arrow!



END GAME THOUGHTS:
the only way i oulled that victory out of my butt was because Denegrah got cocky! if she stayed behind i would have lost for sure! I was honestly really disappointed in the carnivean but it was still a fun game and i cant wait to start painting these buggers! (if i could finaly get my hand on some primer!)

its 28 points not counting warcasters. the 2 spawning vessle crew members are my sheperds since i dont like the normal sheperd model, but i did buy the real sheperd model for the card and for tournys that dont allow proxies but unfortanatly it was mispackaged and i didnt get the card but PP sent me a new one so it all good.
