The atom bombs ended the Pacific war prematurely, and Germany had already been defeated for about a year when it happened. Not to mention other countries were close to developing nuclear capabilities at the time, including Germany whcih outlawed Einstein's work as Jew science. So given how close nuclear development was and the current proliferation of tcehnology, ideas, and espionage it is unlikely a quantum computer would end WW3 b/c getting it could put a nation just one month ahead of the rest, which, depedning on the alliances, could end up having everyone gang up on the one who's closest, possibly launching nukes. And, as with numkes during the Cold War, quantum computers might be used once to great effect before enough people have it that using it on that scale again would result in MAD. Unless this is going to be a Battlestar Galactica scenario where everyone unwisely made themselves susceptible to such a crippling attack.

Also, how would these computers enter LANs? They are connected to an internal network that isn't accessible off the server. And wouldn't others need to be quantum compatible to have their systems hacked? And given the assassination of Iranian scientists in Iran, wouldn't they be the primary military targets since the quantum solution would be a game ender?

And before I get more off track, who's to say there will be a reliance on ballastic weaponry and centralized intelligence over guerilla warfare and splinter cells?

brain cells can get regenerated, it takes time,but it can be done. i learned that from my sciens teacher. he got shrapnel from a graned in his brain, but whit training learned to walk and use his arms agian.

Hey Matt, minor correction. We already have sequenced all the DNA of the human animal - several thousand humans are 100% sequenced today. I work at an institute that sequences a full human every week or so. By 2050, literally every human will be sequenced, to the same extent that everyone today knows their blood type.

What I guess you mean is that, in the late 21st centry, we UNDERSTAND everything about the sequence.
