In terms of copyright laws, the EU and US have completely different copyright. Obviously if I buy a GW mini, and make 10 duplicates of it and sell them, that is illegal. However, if I do not use them for commercial use/trade it is completely fine in the US.

For example, you can buy music on itunes and make copies or load it onto cd's for personal uses only. It is exactly the same concept. As long as you are not profiting off of another company's copyright/patented material you are not infringing them.

Basically their legal department, and many lawyers try to scare lay-people into thinking they can get you for any copying of their material. They cannot, but they maintain the illusion that they can because if they don't I everyone would buy 1 pewter wraithguard and produce 20 resin ones (which I have seen people do).
