Very good tactica,I sure will use it more often. Can you do another tactica with the Callidus Assassin ?

@Nekiu:
From the FAQ
Q: Will a unit Deep Striking, due to The Summoning psychic power,
roll to scatter if it Deep Strikes within 6" of a Mystic? (p25)
A: No.

Could you make some Grey Knight lists? I want to get into the hobby and I am thinking of collecting Grey Knights as a starter army. I like elite armies as you do not have to focus too much on your own models allowing you to concentrate on the enemy models. Thank you in advance.

hey mini war gaming jay i have a question for what makes the vindicare assassin different in the greyknights army then the witch hunters army?
Lampu (Over a year ago): - delete
Great tactica, I already loved the vindicare, but now I'm really itching to go buy him and try him out!
Nekiu (Over a year ago): - delete
@doc069: It says using the deep strike rules from what I read prior to posting this the first time.. then tried hopping around forums and that seems to be the consensus that it does have to scatter =(

@Finplayer123: yep, allies of convenience
TaikDaBrain (Over a year ago): - delete
Ouch! Didn't know that one.
hivemind1973 (Over a year ago): - delete
Is it ok to run just 4 assassins? If they can be doubled out easily then there shouldn't be that big of a deal. I've always wanted to do this but the wargamers say no... Is it to cheese, or is it too powerful? I would like to play this scenario... Any takers?
Finplayer123 (Over a year ago): - delete
can regular space marines take GK units as allies?
alectro (Over a year ago): - delete
He is still ace at shitting vehicles but even though you alocate a wound to a leader look out sir still applies hence he is not as good as he was... Still great at killing special weapons and fairly good at killing sergents (just pray the opponent doesnt roll 4+)
Kodain (Over a year ago): - delete
Great tactica, but try not to stare directly into the camera: Let your eyes wander above the camera, and not just locked onto one position.
Jacknick (Over a year ago): - delete
in my current list I place him inside a bastion with quadgun. that way he stays alive very long and
ninjagunnerx (Over a year ago): - delete
One other tactic is if you have a techmarine, or similar unit that gives Bolster Defenses, you can bolster something with a 4+ or 3 save giveing the vindicare a 3 or 2 cover save respectivly. Now with 6th edition you can buy the Aegis defense line, which has a 4 save, and bolster it, or you can always buy a Bastion and stick him inside. While these are not always great for Gray Knights, you can always add him, and at least 1 HQ and 1 Troop, as an ally.

@oreaper84: I don't think you can use look out sir on wounds made by the Vindicare. "Deadshot: Wounds caused by a Vindicare's shooting attack are ALWAYS allocated by the Vindicare's controlling player.
oreaper84 (Over a year ago): - delete
one a my fav's to mate. i will say that he seems best at hunting tanks and special weps now as look out sir rolls still apply and ive seen too many good wounds kill vanilla guys. btw if his cover save ist 3+ or better dont bother cause hes got a 4 inv anyways (ie area terrain is 5 and add stealth) good tactica... bout time for the paladin cheese tactic i know that you got up your sleeve
JadedKnight (Over a year ago): - delete
Excellent. Mr. Vindicare hates massed shooting since he's only two wounds. Setup like a real sniper, using infiltrate, like a real sniper. With LoS to his primary target and as little as possible else.
xxthepanzerxx (Over a year ago): - delete
sounds pretty bad ass, and i think most of his rules are good, however i gotta disagree with the vidicare assassin being able to pop vehilces yes any infantry even hqs make sense but not vehicles and at the VERY LEAST his pistol shouldnt be able to as well, but overall very cool model and no problem with it except that

I want to make an inquisitorial henchman list with coteaz any tips ? a vid would help alot
doc069 (Over a year ago): - delete
@Nekiu: I am missing my GK codex at the moment, but I believe the Summoning is a teleport action. If so, then the librarian can take a teleport homer - no scatter then. Danger free. Lee.

Now THAT is what I call a tactica

I liked it waaaay more than your other tacticas so far and the tips and tricks where pretty nice and scary, I'll have to look out for that when playing against grey knights in the future!

Keep it up like this and I'll become a fan of your tacticas ;-P
chaosbringer23 (Over a year ago): - delete
thanks for the tactics just started grey knights this realy helped so far my vin has the head of gazgulthroker and 3 landraders as well as one lucky kill on a dakka jet (gazgul and dakka jet kill were in the same game)
Nekiu (Over a year ago): - delete
But doesn't the vindicator have to scatter when using the summoning? Being placed like that seems risky D=
