This is a short tactica for the Eldar Dire Avengers.

The Dire Avengers are the Eldar's best all around unit in a army of specialized unit. for 12 points a pop you can get a full squad for 120 points They come with Ws4 Bs4 S3 W1 I5 A1 Ld9 Sv4+ which isn't bad plus the 18" S4 AP5 Assualt 2 Avenger Catapult. These guys are pretty good plus they're a troop choice. You can then give them an Exarch for 12 points which is the cost of another Avenger. I would give them th e Exarch and then give the Exarch a Shimmershield & Power Weapon (5+ Invul in Close Combat) for 15 Points. you could also give him 2 Shurikens (Assault 4 Catuplts0 for 5 pOints, or Diresword and Shuiken Pistol for 5 (Rules to complecated for me to explain). You can also give him Defend (Enemy's lose one attack when attacking Exarch's squad down to one) and Bladestorm which gives them +1 attcks in shooting,but no shooting in next turn. I find defend no good since most models already have one attack unless shooting, but that's a waste of 15 points which is the cost of both powers. I find Bladestorm good just before you go into close combat.

As for tactics I don't really have any for them. They are a very straightforward unit.
