Hello everyone! After a very long time, i'm glad to say i motivated myself to make a new update! Its a WIP, so it will also be going on in more detail on the Miniwargaming forums. You should see it within a few days under "Eldar" not "Work in progress", because even though it fits in both, I think it fits more in the Eldar section...
Anyway, you're probably sick of my ranting, so let's get on with it.
About half of my army is fully painted, and the other half is the almost done stuff and a few un-started things. I have 1500 pointsish, I'm aiming for 2500, then after I'll get there I'll make some more new plans, probably eventually getting to the 4000 point mark.
AAA!!! I keep veering off! OK, so you want to see the army... Here is the entire painted half:
That's a wave serpent with an EML,
a vyper with two shuriken cannons,
a wraithlord with a BL, EML, and two flamers,
two farseers,
two warlocks, (a third one in the unfinished half of the army)
ten guardians with a BL,
and 5 dire avengers.
Now here's the unfinished half, you'll notice that a lot of it is half finished, or even almost done:
That's five howling banshees and an exarch,
four striking scorpions and an exarch, (I don't know where the fifth is)
5 swooping hawks and an exarch,
the unfinished warlock,
and a beaten up war walker in need of heavy repairs.
Here are a few close ups of the finished models:
My wave serpent. Most people (including me) think that this is the best piece I have yet, and, as a matter of fact, is actually the first eldar vehicle I ever painted in that color scheme. (before I repainted it, it looked like a cow.) I posted a lot of pictures of it elsewhere on this site, but this is the finished version. (yellow gemstones) Here it is:
My vyper. The first vyper I got, and at the moment, the only one, is another goop piece of mine. There is no pilot inside, because while I was building it, I didn't realize that the back was opened up, so you could see if there was anything inside. But I did black out the window like I did with the wave serpent:
My wraithlord. The wave serpent and the wraithlord I'm about to show are competing for the best pieces in my collection. Let's see which you like better! More shots
~here~, the only reason I put him here is that now he's based:
Farseers and warlocks. I have two farseers and three warlocks, and unlike other people, I deck the seers out with all the psychic powers besides eldrich storm. (I'M TELLING YOU, IT WORKS A CHARM!) This makes them pretty dang expensive, (my HQ with warlocks and seers all together is more than 400 points) but really, that's won me all my won games:
Dire avengers. My avengers are also pretty well done, mostly like the original scheme except the blue is kinda camo... I also have these guys in a few places on this site and others:
Guardians. The most of my converting went to these guys. Each of them has a cape made of green stuff, as you can see on the two guys in front with their back to you. I posted how to make these capes on my channel, check that out. Here they are:
And that's it! I will get another battleforce soon, to start the main WIP part, and I'll be working on the models you saw in the unfinished half of the army. I have big plans for the new battleforce I'll get... Every single mini will be cut up and re-pasted to look like it's running, jumping, shooting, or other dynamic poses rather than
I always thought that looked cute...

But really, it looks like it's just standing there. All my models will be heavily posed. Also, check out the forum page! It will have more stuff on how-to, here I'll just be posting the pics.
Go miniwargaming!
Freddycatking, out!
