Prolog
“Silence,” Elrad said to his council. Normally it took 2 or 3 times to awaken the council from scrying the strands of fate but the circumstances were so grim that the council could barely focus. “We have visitors,” said Elrad. All eyes turned towards the end of the rune-lit circle. There stood 7 of the mightiest heroes their race had ever seen. The phoenix lords .As the mood of the warlocks and seers changed from grimness to hope, the floating runes around the circle changed form black to a light aqua. There sat Mugan Ra, Asrumen, Jain Zar, Fugan, Kandras And Barroth, These are LEGENDS in the very least. They sat there with the 9 seers and warlocks for hours talking over what to do in this wretched time.
Finally the occupants left the spirit chamber, but this time with them was the almighty avatar of ala mesha khaine. The reason the craftworld Ulthwè was in such great peril is that under the banner of Captain Sicarius, the Ultamarines Chapter had given amazingly harsh blows with the combined might of the Astres and a nearby Cadian regiment they had given numerous casualties to Ulthwè. Now the phoenix lords prepared to summon a horde of all the aspects and the black guardians and 31 more seers and warlocks. The summoning ring became a ring of blinding blue light and the giant force slowly appeared where nothing had been at all 5 seconds ago. This is the way the eldar work.

“Perfect,” said Kandras as he gave his mighty yell and lopped off the head of a frightened commissioner. He and his striking scorpions, as his companions were titled, looked around the battle field. Still no sign of Sicarius. Coward, thought Kandras. If I ever see him he’s going to wish he died on the battlefield. Just as that thought ended, Barroth and his swooping hawks flew over the battlefield crippling many things below them that Kandras could not see. Many explosions sounded throughout the battlefield. Kandras could see that a few seconds ago there had been Ultramarine land raiders there. Fugan and his fire dragons were completing their task. At least those two are doing their work, that’s some comfort. Suddenly out of the midst of nowhere came what all of them had thought might come, they had been dreading it…
