This is actually very close to having a few formations in it as well. 3 more rhinos and filling out the devastators and using 1 captain and a command squad would be a battle company. Get a chapter master in their and a second command squad and you would also have a Masters of the Chapter in as well, for 2 formations, giving you a few orbital bombardments and other stratagems.

hey yes this is definitly an apocalypse army. (correction, apoc is over 3k) and i would definitly reccommend getting a super heavy. and also in apoc every army in imperium can be put together. so all space marine and imperial guard can join. but you have to still take a decent amount of each army. you cant have an entire army of grey knights, then just have the 1 random furioso dread. you need to take multiple units with veriety. the only exeption to this, (in my "house rules") is super heavies, just because they are so many points that it is almost like its own army, so i would allow an army of space marines with a baneblade or equivelent super heavy from imperium.

@hthehidden: At face value, what your army looks like it is is just walking. In an apoc game, unless you've agreed on no super heavies or formations (basically you're playing a large normal game), OR you have a nasty trick up your sleeve, then all your units can do is waltz into a death trap. The best they'd do would be to distract the enemy. This would be a meat shield. A fantastic ally to armies that don't have the staying power, but far more pushing power, of a Space Marine.

If it's over 2k(I think that's the minimum?), then yes, you have an apoc army. The usefulness of it though, is another question.

I see about 5 or 6k points worth of meat shield, imperative that you have this in an apoc game. However, I don't think you would appreciate your army only being a meat shield.

Unless you have some way of getting your army to be in cc range of the enemy, the amount of heavy guns they can bring to bear will have you taking off units faster than you can deploy them.

But, in addition to being a meat shield, I can see this army being pretty decent at contesting objectives last minute, should anything survive.
