using a ratio of ((500/15)+ (1000/25) (1500/35) (2000/50))/4 = just under 40

sojust under 40*180 make about 7000 points if were talking warhammer 40k points

So what Button do I need to push to get a fully painted Warmachine army to pop up out of thin air!? Who PAINTED that stuff?

So why do I get the feeling that Dave didn't have much to do with the creation of this army?

I think that having a 35 point army in warmachine is like having 1500 point army in warhammer 40k. Having 180 points would equal to being able to have a big apokalypse game against yourself.

@moman: I'd certainly have to guess he bought it from someone or got it commissioned. I can't imagine painting that much and not even knowing what the units are called... it might time to change the "we work so you can play" slogan.

Are there any close ups of this Army? I have a Lich Lord Venethrax I want to put some paint on soon so I'd like to see Daves version up close

Who painted this army, did he get it commissioned?

Very nice!!!!

Very nicely painted. That is a whole lot of models. It's even enough to play Unbound (minimum 150 pts) which is essentially the equivalent to Apocalypse in 40K. Consolidated rules for Unbound will be out in the next book, Colossal, which should be out very soon.

"Holy crap Dave you've got alot of models!"

I also got that battle force at Salute 2012 in the Uk this year. I also got Mortengra on the advice of a beardy on the stand who said a second caster is a good way to change your army very quickly. Im short on warmachine players within my group of friends so im still waiting for my first game, perhaps ill video it for epicness

That is one awesome Cryx force! Can't wait to play you a game. I'll get my Cygnar ready instead of Protectorate. I've been itching to start playing them.

Also you have 2 Helldiver that cost 3 pts each, no arcnode but the can advance -> burrow ( disappearing from the table) -> next turn the appear 3 inch of that place. Remember just to make them advance an burrow not run ( when you run you can't do other thing ). This way you can take out enemies from behind and advance without worry of enemy shooting.

Dave, also you must use the arcnodes of your bonejacks and remember to use ghost walk for a caster kill using the Slayer or the Deathripper( if the deathripper hits one time it automatically hit that model in the subsequent attacks that do in that turn, giving you effectively 3-4 auto hits, combine with Parasite! )

Deneghra's feat is both offensive and defensive, remember that. Don't use the scourge unless, it cost too much and do very little.

Also for the 25 pts and subsequent first use only the tier list that deneghra has, those work really good and the extra benefit that gives you are really good.

Deathjack is truly a beast. However, it is expeencive (12 points) and in warmachine everything deals far more damage, than it can take itself. So your opponent will be able to crush the Deathjack no problem. He will jsut need an oportunity. Also as a character 'jack, there will be no second Deathjack on the battlefield.

Slayer and Seether (do you have one?) are your more standard 'jacks with Seether being the more expencive (9 points instead of 6) but also the more focus efficient and powerfull version of the Slayer.

As for the small chicken 'jacks (just look at some of the old models, you have there, and tell me, they are not chickens) they basicaly are arcnodes with legs. You have 4 of them: Deathripper (4 points, meele), Ripjaw (5 p, meele), Nightwretch (4 p, ranged) and Defiler (5 p, ranged). In their function as arc nodes with legs, the meele variants are not favorited as the node is blocked, while the 'jack is in meele, even thou Ripjaw's bonesaw is dreadfull. Both ranged chicken have really low range (6 and 8SP) but still, their weapon isn't completely useless. For that reason, people tend to take the Nightwretch as their standard cheep arcnode with legs.

Denny is a great caster. I really like her feat, thou it must be timed right. But when it is timed right, it is devastating. With feat on and her debuff, you mentioned, I made my Slayer deal dice+ damage agianst a Khador 'jack. Insane.
