Just a thought as to how to stop people keeping back; make sure the terrain near the table edges are weak, that is to say make all the best terrain in the centre of the board so you have to fight for that advantage.

Hey Matt!!! LOL You missed with a natural roll of 12. You grabbed the dice and pondered using a command point, BUT on a natural roll of 12 you cannot use a command point.

I know with the excitement of the game you get carried away.

I don't know if it was brought up but the gravity mine would do nothing against the commanders weapon

Matt covered most of the board with overwatch and could move around more freely.
Dave had very restricted movement because of the overwatch and was more or less forced to stay and "camp" on his side of the board.

So i don't really buy the argument of, Dave had the advantage because he chose to play defensively.

Matt chose to walk into Dave's forces, negating his tactical advantage of limiting Dave's movement.
