i hate to be mister rules you got wrong, but since the sniper has the 'loner' special rule, doesn't that mean he can't use the commanders command points?

The Corporation Vets should be called Managers with the squad leader being called District manager. Baddum

@Raggbur: I am also a big fan of making the Corporation a somekind grotesque carricature of a modern day corporation with ranks using the related terminology. I incorporated it in my short story (in the fan fiction area), where a corporate outcast got "fired" by a "personell manager".

@Azeebo: Ha I woke up and for some reason I had a similar idea for Matt for Supressing Fire. Kudos for beating me to it

My thoughts on suppression fire matt: Have it like overwatch. You declare which area you want to cover, if any enemies enter that area, one of 2 things happen. If cover is nearby, they must stop moving, and dive into cover forfeiting the rest of their actions thst turn. Maybe have it on a failed leadership test. If there is no cover within remaining movement, they take D3 hits, per 3 guys participating in the surpression fire.

Those are my immediate thoughts on it .

1. think that the Xlandtos Manipulator should role for a hit when pulling an emeny to him or out of a building or window.
2. would like to see smoke grinades on base with a letter "G" or "S/G" on it. it is getting a little hard to fallow with all the dice on the table. this can also be added to
"A/M" anti grav and "G/M"
gravity Mines....wanklesmissfits

I posted this before and it got thumbed down, but i wanted to know why using a command point to alter a roll shouldn't be done before the roll is made, much like using focus in warmachine, it seems like it would e amore fair mechanic of focus spending, (this wouldn't pertain to rerolling dice obviously)

Wouldn't you have been able to throw a second grenade from the recruits to cover the vets?

@Qward: I think this is one of those moments were a joke holds some nice ideas: Just the name 'Managers', could actually really be used...

the sniper cannot use the commanders points to go on overwatch as he is a loner

Infector heals your own troops and infects others.....isn't that a bit over powered???

Matthew and Dave play a 50 point game of Dark Potential (50 points is probably going to be a typical size game), using Alpha rules 0.2.1, with new units!
