Matt, when your commander was shot by Dave's sniper, he lost two wounds, but you only dropped his leadership by 2, Doesn't the sniper shot drop it by one more? Is it time for a rules you got wrong? Awesome game, can't wait to play.

I am not sure I like the assassin killing multiple guys when he only touches 1 guy. since there is no pile in. especially if the squad was really spread out. Maybe a reach like in war machine should be used.

yeah command check would have been -3 because of sniper and you rolled a 5 needing a 4 and u had no command points to modify.

Matt i love the game but i just think the grenades being thrown are forced to automatically deviate. It seems for lack of a better word dumb imo, wouldn't there be a chance of the grenade landing in the proper spot even if it is unlikely to occur. I just dislike mandatory deviation

I think that when the sniper shoots there should be a possibility for a head shot/insta kill modles with multiple wounds

Wireless electricity. Well we would have it if Tesla had been alowed to end his research, and if Edison wasnt such bad bad man(he made a lto of money on electricity, and would loose it if there would be a wireless transfer, so he ruined Tesla, which prevented succesful ending to his research).

Thinking about your comment again, Matt did say that Xlanthos were weak in close combat which would make them overpowered if there weakness is so hard to exploit, so for the purposes of the game maybe that should be altered plus the Animals faction would have a really hard time presuming they are mostly melee.

@jameswearden: I think this may be intentional to some point because think of it realistically, if you bring a knife to a gun fight you're going to get blown to pieces unless you have some way to close the distance first.

7:36 - "Leadership test minus 2" is actually -3 because it was a sniper shot.

The shooting seems very balanced, fun and well play-tested. However combat seems a bit weak. I can't see how stuff will get in to combat without it being stealthed? Seems like the game is focused on getting behind cover and shooting, which I know a thing or two about as I have a Tau army. Also when the assassin had finished slicing stuff up he kind of just got left out in the open facing the wrong way :/

I think Matt's Commander's weapon should be a move or fire... seems like that destructive power would be really heavy.

add a critical miss to the game so, if you shoot through your own guys and roll double 6s you can hit them with your weapon's rate of fire minus D3 hits to a minimum of 1 at full strength.
