Sacrificing a move to perform an action and then sacrificing your action to move... isn't that a little silly? Wouldn't it be easier to just say you get a move and an action in whatever order you choose?

Dark potential seems like the Frankenstein's monster of miniwargames it takes all the best mechanics from each wargame and stitches them together into one great game. Can't wait to see the minatures!

After watching all five parts, I've come back to part 1 to say; this was great viewing!

It makes me extremely excited for the game to be refined and then released, so that I can play it properly with genuine Dark Potential models.

@Lantern: From what I understand if you are doing just a normal turn and not placing anything special, you must do movement and then action. But if you place an anti gravity mine like dave did, you have to sacrifice either your move or action phase. so you could place a mine and then move, or place a mine and shoot, but you couldn't do both.

I like some of the DnD rules worked into this game. The range increment mechanic is awesome! Can't wait to grab some corporation troops and hit the battlefield!!!

@Lantern: No cause you can't shoot and then move. I think the mines being placed under the models might cause problems instead of placing them in base contact with the model.

That anti-grav commmander thing is interesting. Because if it only remains in play one turn it means your commander would never be able to scale that building.
