I honestly thought Owen was completely screwed when the Necrosphinx killed the first Hydra and did its overrun in the flank of the spears.

No saves of any kind is allowed for Pit of Shades, only the Initiative test. So, there should not be any regenaration saves for the Tomb Kings. Look out sir however is allowed (because it's a template).

Rules / army selection you got wrong.
1) Dude, you%u2019ve got to stop selecting two Hydras. They are probably the best overall unit in the game. Even taking one is a bit cheesy at 1500.
2) Also, the tarpit / unkillable Dreadlord is awesome but are not very fun from a spectator point of view. Could you vary the selection bit?
Great BRs though, lots of fun!

Page 95. failing a swift reform means you still make a normal reform, and incur the normal penalties, found on P14: uses all movement and cannot shoot. you cant just move as if the attempt hadn't been made. your committed to the reform regardless of the outcome of the LD check.

I think you gave only 2 attacks to the hydra's beastmasters. They have 2 attacks according to their profile. But they "are each armed with a Beastmaster's scourge and a hand weapon". Paired weapons get you another attack. So they should actually get 3 attacks each, total of 6 attacks.

You still maximize contact in an overrun.

Quick Reform that is failed only gets you reform and not move or shoot.

@ GrandAdmiralThrawn: From what i see, unit lost 10 guys 1 for charge, the Hydra lost 3 wounds, 3 ranks for skeletons 1 for standard.

That's 11 to 7 which would be 4 more dead skeletons.

Unless I'm wrong, I only saw 10 skeletons removed. Not sure if any were removed at the end tho.

Dark Elves Turn 2 - Hydra inflicted 13 wounds and it lost 1 so won the combat by 12. 12 additional Skeleton Warriors should have died because of the Unstable special rule. Or do I miss sth? Mighty mistake in favour of the Khemri.
