Hi Dave,

You said the furioso with blood talons is Str 6. I've read the codex and the rulebook and can't find where it says this. Can you point me in the right direction and possibly tell me what page I can find that on? Thanks!

Thraka and the cybork nobs.
I run Thraka with:
9 Nobs + 1 Painboy = 230 pts
10 cybork bodies = 50 pts
6 Big Choppas = 30 pts
3 Power Klaws = 75 pts
1 Waaagh Banner = 15 pts
Total = 400 pts.
Always in a Battle Wagon with at least a Deff Rolla.

I have watched this squad rip through everything they come into contact with. Infantry, vehicles, monstrous creatures, and dreadnoughts have all fallen to these Nobs. More often than not, I lose them to shooting or a failed leadership check. They're rarely beaten in combat. They have beaten Furioso Dreads before, though I've never had a chance to bring them into battle against a Librarian dreadnought. I'd actually be curious to see how long it would last in combat with them.

Eldar mounted warlocks and two farseers
scotzy1995 (12 months ago): - delete
some fire dragons in a falcon, or serpent will probably be a great choice ( at least for eldar) up to 10 melta, and if you put a farseer in thats equates to to many pen's
Finplayer123 (12 months ago): - delete
if you say blood lance to my 3 land raiders i say 'blessed hull'

from black templars codex, vehicles with blessed hull doesn't reduce armor from lance weapons from 14 to 12, its counted always 14

perfect for blood lances or eldar tricekery lances

Railguns, pure and simple.
Hammerheads are hard to hit when they are always moving 12".
And since your Furioso is coming in veia deep strike and can't assult, my Broadsides have a perfic target right in front of them.
FreedomPrime (12 months ago): - delete
my answer to you're furioso is long fangs. 3 squads, 5 missile launchers each. 15 missile's per turn is kinds fun
FreedomPrime (12 months ago): - delete
hmm, i rather have just a regular dreadnaught with twin linked multi melta and a close combat weapon. with drop pod. its cheaper and does pretty much the same thing.
Crusader-cliff (12 months ago): - delete
Hi Dave, I run black templar. My answer to any tanks is shooty terminators with 2 cyclone missile launchers with tank hunter or my black templar venerable dreadnought with twin las and missile also with tank hunter. You should check out Black templar, they are powerful, can have whole army with prefered enemy.

Farseer with a warlock retinue. One of the warlocks has enhance, making the retinue I5 WS 5 and the Farseer I6 WS6. 3 attacks a piece on the charge wielding S9 weapons, you're glancing front armor on 4's with doom and guide if you really want. makes for smoking dreadnaughts...

Also, wraitguard, rangers, or anything with haywire grenades. It may seem unfair, but we are Eldar

You forgot the psychic hood!
In your last batrep, you could have used it against Eldradīs psychic powers (Guide, Doom). Same with your Librarian HQ. Makes the Furioso Librarian highly effective against psychic armees (Eldar or even Tyranids).
Faethore (12 months ago): - delete
It's probably been said, but from what I've seen in your battle reports, the Eldar making you role 3 dice for your psysic check seemed pretty effective. =b

Is there a better elite choice in the blood angel army? Not according to the one who unleashes the fury of the furioso.
