ok this is what you need to do
1. when presenting you models use a light box, which is white and makes sure your models are well lit
2. highlight your models, I am assuming you are using chaos black so use adeptus battle grey for the black
3. when painting the cloak paint astronomican grey or dheneb stone in the recesses
4. "Erase" your mistakes by painting over them
