Bjorti Trollsbane

Hey! heres the mini that i gave a little teaser of in the last slideshow i did! (by the way, how does everyone like the slideshow way of viewing it? i like photobucket and all, but sometimes i find the slideshow is a bit lame ) the base is entirely scratch built. after posting the picture of him in my previous article, i felt he looked a bit...empty. not much going on. so, i brainstormed and came up with this solution! a mountain backdrop. i am very pleased with how it turned out. the mountain was sculpted out of a generic air drying cheap modelling clay. the clay i used was a bit crummy, it shrank and got all lumpy...so i had to clean it all up with some milliput, which i have to say is a really nice putty to work with. the sand on the ground is just sand that was sprinkled on the base, adhered with glue. some static grass, and i think thats about it. my mind kind of trailed off during this article, good music tends to do that eh? if its a bit confusing, sorry message me with any questions you have, or comments about what you like/dont like.

@legonid:

the base is meant to be large, this is a showcasing miniature, it is NOT intended for gaming purposes i just like to paint and sculpt, not play.
