Nice BatRep, guys. Shows that Khador isn't all about running up and smashing, and that Circle does have the ability to do that occasionally. Some good information there.

Matt hung in there pretty well despite losing a whole unit without any compensation for it.

@nagi21 hordes just works differently, a lot of warmachine players have trouble out thinking hordes players because it works in reverse. WM - kill the caster, Hordes - kill the beasts.

If you look at tournament results since MK2, you'll see that the top factions so far are: Cryx, Khador, Legion, and Circle. While the game is not completely balanced (any game with different stats and dice will never be), it's very close. Matt and I both made a lot of mistakes this game, and if that wasn't so it could've ended differently.

You need to look at it from a different perspective. Sure it looks like Hordes is really strong when our beasts are smashing yours to bit in the early turns, but when our Warlock is starving for fury and your Caster is unkillable in the late game with camped focus it looks very different.
