Wow, a really cool looking army.
Also great work on the spore pod, really like the fruity look.

Thanks Austin for the clarification, couldn't quite make out the name in the video. I'll have to scour the web for them. Thanks again, and keep up the good work.

@Killbybean123: Actually don't the DC Dreads take up a slot each? Or are you ignoring those because it would be an apocalypse game? So if I am correct, in a normal game you could take:
5x DC Dreads (because the DC you take to get them take up one slot leaving 5 open)
3x regular
3x Furioso.

Or am I just really off?

@potato5000: They are from an exillis kit. The game tanked, but I had some bits left over from the archangel kit. You may be able to find these kits still around if you look.

Where are those second set of wings from?
DocDarell (Over a year ago): - delete
really inspiring idea sir
Killbybean123 (Over a year ago): - delete
This would be an apocolypse sized army but you can take 42 dreds
36 death com dreds
3 furiosos
3 heavy support dreds

@ChaplainRobb: Ah, ok. I was thinking about the first captain too. About the second captain I have no idea, but I don't think it's from a plague marine. This is inspiring to say the least, although I just walked past my "pending projects" shelf, and.... well... let's say I have no more space left for new things.

Whoop, what I meant is the FIRST jump captain, the one that Colonel Austin asked about. I don't think the second one (metal helmet) is a plague marine though. I have about twenty of the old PMs, and it doesn't look quite the same.
ChaplainRobb (Over a year ago): - delete
The head on the jump captain is just one from the Chaos Marines sprue. Just regular old marine dome (I've been sort through my chaos collection in anticipation of the soon-to-be-unveiled starter set)
Roy-Batty (Over a year ago): - delete
This is an awesome idea. Isn't the head on the winged captain a Plague Marine head?
And the second captain with the feathered wings looks spectacular. What was the kit those wings come from? I know you said it but I can't find them on the GW website.
In general, very inspirational!

I really like these, they make painting easier when I can listen to some wargaming talk while I paint.

Keep up the good work!
