Dude, did a GW staffer rape you or something? WTH?

Waaaaay over the top with the criticism of GW IMHO. Yes, GW is a company that is in the business to make money. Whooaaa, head rush! Guess what? The other companies that you mention are also in the market to sell games! If they were the market leader like GW, do you think that they might not use the same tactics? Business is business man, like it or hate it, it is what it is.

Anyway, the bottom line IMHO is this, and it is in line with yours I believe. Get your poison from where you're most comfortable. I don't care who you buy from or what you're painting. Do what you like.

But PLEASE! Be a bit more objective. You come across like a scorned women!

Oh, and yes, I use GW's paint and the painting books/guides as well. Why? Well, I like them and they're easy to follow and use. But then, I'm not a master painter like you are. Just a normal puke trying to turn out a decent looking army.

Comment?

Hi i got a quick question, do you have any advice for painting imperial guard infantry and any advice for camo on a imperial guard vehicle . i am painting my guardsmen in a city camo theme
thanks

great responce to a good question. I don't mind the criticism of gw cause they do everything he says and I like the mention of priviteer press as a comparison

OK, you are partially correct.GW is not the only war games hobby supplier, but stop the bashing already! Name another hobby chain where you can go in and get free painting lessons, free gaming lessons, and a free mini. GW offers one stop shopping. Please do not forget, this is a business after all. And businesses make money. The only time it is REQUIRED to use only GW paints is when you enter a GW sanctioned tournament. I agree with your statement that all sources should be cultivated when learning, and other suppliers have better prices and sometimes quality.

does reaper make miniatures too?
FabulousFab (Over a year ago):
you are almost the first guy who i hear , who actually puts in words what i thought of for a long time. i like some things of gw. i like for example the fluff of 40k and some other things. but the last time i put my minis on a gw gaming table and marked my dropzone not with dice or stuff but with some little demon minis from reaper or so...they all stared at me as if i brought a rat with pestilence...and i didn`t used them as proxy minis i just marked my drop zone...! thats way over the top!!! WAY OVER THE TOP!
mo1 (Over a year ago):
