Imp-Fist Chappy
For this model I used an airbrush for a white basecoat. Up until now I used strictly black undercoats. Bestial brown, Golden yellow and bleached bone was used to blend on the shoulder pads. Sepia wash helped blend with some blending solution.
The black armor was choas black, with battlegrey and codex grey highlights.
For all your scrolls and parchments, if you arent making your own decals, I highly suggest a paint pen with a .2mm line width. Its a quick solution to a painstaking process that could take some time with a paintbrush.
The pistol pouch was scorched, bestial and vermin brown.
Finally for the rusted metal. I painted it boltgun metal. Then applied a heavy stippling of black, scorched brown and boltgun mix to the pipes to start the rust. Then I used two washes of lighter brown paints and orange rust weathering powder and layed accordingly. Finally a few specs of straight powder was drybrushed at the highest points.
The shoulder pad decal was used with decal setting solution. SO you don't actually have to cut your decals to avoid the folds.
