I began to paint the Living Saint for a tutorial that I wrote for the website, and decided to go ahead and try to finish her for a contest at my local hobby shop, Book Stan'.

The Skin
For both the cherubs and the saint, I used Reaper Miniature Rosy Skin Triad, mixed with various amounts of P3 Menoth White (an excellent color). I gave the skin very lighjt glazes of Asurmen Blue and Baal Red.

Golden Armor
By far the hardest part of the model, I went through several color combinations and washes before I was happy with the result. I used the Palamino Gold Triad from Reaper for the base color, and darkned the mixes with RMS Ruddy Leather when I wanted to darken the area. I used several glazes on the figure, including Palamino Gold and Buckskin Pale

The Cape
You can find a tutorial on how I did the cape, here: http://www.skeletonhead.ws/?page_id=217
Angel Wings
For the cherub wings, I used Menoth White Base and Menoth White Highlight, both are excellent colors. P3 are fast becoming my favorite brand of paint. I used Gryphonne Sepia to wash the deeper recesses of the wings.

Metal
For the sword and metal halo, I used three Reaper Master Series paints. Stormcover Grey, Coldstone Grey, Icy Grey, Stormy Grey, Cloudy Grey and Misty Grey. These were applied in various mixes and at various opacities.

The Base
I used a larger base to help stabilize her, as her original base is very unstable. I simply used a large amount of PVA glue and various sizes of ballast. I made sure that the ballast was mashed down into the glue, and then used several pieces of Gale Force Nine stone pieces to give the flat surface some relief. Once the glue dried, I applied various shades of grey and dry brushed the highlights.
The figure was sealed with Krylone Matte Varnish.
