A better way to do it is to use woodland scenics soft flake Snow and a mixture of White glue to White Paint. it works very well

dario: if you are asking because the warhammer bases lack lips, it makes no difforence.

Yeah, I couldn't see the baking soda until the 3rd layer, and I think that was glue.

Wouldn't the glue dissolve the Baking Soda?

if you are undercoating, i find that bleached bon eowrks better than skull white, simply because it makes the snow look less artificial and more battlefield sutable

Couldent 1 just glue fine sand to the base and then paint it Skull White and drybrush with a mix of Bleached Bone and Skull White??? (Citadel Colours)

I really like the idea of the baking soda. I based a ton of Space Wolves with snow flock and if you paint the base white it goes on alot easier than the baking soda. I even used super glue on some of them. Just my 2 cents. Loved the video though still.

Considering the fact that my friend and I will be doing a arctic color schemed Tau army, i'll probably end up using this for all the bases.
