Those of you saying force weapon the Trygon, keep in mind that with Shadow in the Warp, the force weapon (PSYCHIC test), takes 3d6 added together. Very tough to get off against nids.

Also, Mephiston IS T6, hard to believe, I know. His statline is WS7 BS5 S6 T6 W5 I7 A4 Ld10 Sv 2+. He is basically a Trygon in infantry form.

Never put zoanthropes behind another unit unless you're specifically trying to keep them from being assaulted. Zoanthropes have a 3+ invulnerable save (better than any cover save they may get) and putting them behind another unit could give the opponent a 4 cover save.

I feel so sad because that nid list is the only good army build, with a few tweaks for different games. Unlike many other armies, you can't have different effective build. If you do have a different build, it really isn't competitive. It's a shame.

I am pretty sure your bolt pistols on your assault marines shot a lot further than their 12 inch range.

Outflank atleast 1-2 baals, since ur vehicles are fast; only drive into range when you are going to fire (if u go 12 inches u can still use a flamestorm) Don't get flame weapons on every Baal. Never get stormravens because they are too expensive and too easy to kill. Against that trygon u shudda just tried force weapon twice instead of sword. dont use TL lascannons use them as sponsons cuz 45 pts to turn an autocannon into a TL lascannon is way too much.

Use Storm Ravens. And put twin-linked lascannons on the standard Predators.

how much toughnes does metphiston have? why couldn't the Trygon wound him? doesn't it have STr6? that would be 2+ right????

unless you modify your Baal Predator it can't shoot forward, it's against the core rules of 40K.
