Dave, I love fun armies (hence why I play a Night Goblin army in fantasy). And frankly, that blood lance army sounds like a barrel of laughs. I'd take it a step further, and do an almost-all deepstrike army. Put devastators on the table, and everything else DS's. Jump troops, dreads in drop pods. Put locator beacons on half the DPs so you can place your reserve units where you want them (well, at least place them near the first deepstrikers without mishap). May not be the most sound of tactics, but it'd be a hoot.
