Dan forgot to overwatch when Dave declared the charge from inside the crater.He still gets it regardless of whether the charge is successful or not. Also, when jump infantry assault with their jump packs they get to reroll 1 or more charge dice. Don't have the book next to me for page reference, but that's what I remember reading. I was stoked to read that.

In terms of tactics,if I was in Dave's shoes, I would've just moved the full 12" first turn, shot, then moved 6" turn 2, shot, attempted assault, but no judgement passed. All hind sight. Was fun to watch the lootas kite the death company around for 3 turns.

how is it that you determine the number of shots lootas get during overwatch? orks codex pg 43 "deffguns are shoulder-mounted weapons ... @akaCasper, @panzer903: yeah thanks for the clarification. my confusion came as I was deciphering how that all impacted my stormboys with waaagh XD. FAQ on GW site says that stormboys now don't benefit from a waaagh. pretty sad about that, but I think it's to counterbalance the fact that they can now deep strike.
@sareth: Page 88 Blood Angels codex, under Death Company -"*The entire squad can have jump packs ...15pts per model". Just checking that we were watching the same video, where Dave is using his Death Company that have Jump Packs, right? o.0

@smurfgoblin: page 47 says you can re-roll you're charge distance but it doesn't say you can pick how many dice. Fleet (page 35) does say "A unit composed entirely of models with this special rule can re-roll one or more of the dice when determining Run moves and charge ranges"
