I don't know about you guys, but I paint first then assemble, makes things a lot easier. And yes its quite sloppy but it will get covered up nicely in the end.

Here are some pictures of some of my older works

A Hormagaunt from my first battleforce I bought about a year ago.
A time when I didn't know how to clean models, how to dry brush, how to wash yeah...

Here is a Devgaunt I painted about 4 months ago, now knowing how to dry brush, cleaning the models, but it was before I knew how to do a wash oddly enough. This was the brood that I painted when I discovered how to dry brush.

Here are some pictures of what I think are my best painted models.

Warrior painted about 3 months ago, magnetized lower arms, so I can switch for either a Barbed Strangler or Death Spitters. (I got lazy and didn't bother doing it for Devourers)

And why is it my favorite?
Because they are the most fun to paint, the smooth carapace is very satisfying to work with, the raised areas are raised just high enough so that you can dry brush without problems, and hell they are just easy to paint.


Alright, hope you enjoyed these pictures because it wasn't my camera so it might be a while before I post pictures. Well I don't really know what else to photo anyway, unless I greatly improve my painting skills to warrant an update.

This is the first time I have heard of anyone else using that tactic. I use it for my Necrons because otherwise it is almost imposible to get every nook and crany. I give you're tyranids a 14 out of 5.

Yeah, that's dust alright been just sitting around for about 10 years, and moved there about a year ago watching the tyranid swarm grow.
And yes, that is a gundam, 1/144 scale meteor for those that know.
