Well, I'm nearing the end of my original Ork/Valkyrie/Tau Conversion project, and during the making of this project I stumbled upon a very interesting way of weathering (which i'll be making into a tutorial eventually).

This is my first ever Tau Crisis XV8 Battlesuit I've made, and i am quite pleased with it. I've also never found a painting scheme for the tau that completely blew me away until i stumbled upon a very interesting custom version of the Farsight Army. This inspiration lead me to this! Even without the heavy weathering on the model, the original paint scheme is really interesting! When I have more Tau Crisis XV8 Battlesuits at my disposal, i'll be creating a lot more variation between just how damaged the models are. Some will be like this, where there is dirt, mud, scrapes, bullet holes and chunks that have been blown out. and some will be only mildly worn down with just a few scratches and divots.
