how can a librarian ignore a paladins armour save? force swords are AP3 not 2 right? although it would ignore feel no pain because of the Strength 10.

6th edition rule book page 60 Unusual Force Weapons
"If a Force weapon has its own unique close combat rules, treat it as an AP 3 Melee weapon ith the additional rules and characteristics presented in its entry"

This leaves me thinking that a paladin with a Nemesis force halberd strikes at Initiative 4+2 for the halberd as it says treat it as a melee weapon, without looking at its type.
Correct me if I'm wrong about this but this is just the way I interpret it.

yeah, all grey knight melee weapons are "unusual force weapons" because their not force weapons, their NEMESIS force weapons

@trancekuja84: Halberds yes, but if the weaopn has a special name etc it is an unusual power weapon, making them just AP3.

I think you should lighten up and sound more casual when doing battle reports to sound more natural. It sounds like you're being really formal and stiff.

did you forget psychotroke grenades from the paladins when you assaulted? Also, im guessing the librarian struck at Initiative 1 because of psych out grenades, wasnt too clear. And you still get regular saves from force swords, theyre ap3.

@dan40000 I think you are confusing this with the 5th. IC receive no targeting protection other than LoSir. If they are in b2b they can be hit & actually must be hit b4 taking hits on other members of the squad behind them.

Hey Dave, i think a Powerfist on a SM-Sergeant is a waste of Points in 6th Edition. He will be killed in every Challange because of Ini 1. I think a Sword would be better. I dont equip my Sergeants with Power Weapons anymore, only with Melterbombs or sometimes with a Power Sword when i have the Points left. Greetings

You really should be using the 4+ look out sirs on the paladins and their directed shots much. You could have picked off at least some of those melta guns before they did damage.
