and edition? Im guessing you meant second. Its actually 3rd, just like the necron codex. The reason you see the big "Second Eddition" mark is because the Dark Eldar had a 3rd ed codex (came out 1998), but there were some problems, and so they came out with an updated codex, hence it was the "second edition" of the book. Also, 3rd ed started around 1998. The current Dark Eldar book was released in 2003.
