Hi guys, I'm Thillidan (thill-a-den), i live in Australia... If your from australia them message me and hopefully we live in the same state so i could have a game with you.
I play imperial gaurd from a new system that i made called the Nardel System... When humanity found it they foudn that the system had 4 major planets... 3 habitable and one rock (Petros), filled with all the ore and seas of petrolium that you could ever dream of. The Imperium chose Petros to be a forge world.
The other three planets were colonised for the purposes of recruiting a new era of Imperial Guard, those whos home recruiting system had a fully capable Forge World, giving them superior Vehicle and Firearms. The Three recruiting worlds were then all named the same, with 1,2 and 3 after their names. Feralis 1, 2 and 3 became a strong centre for imperial Dominace in that section of the galaxy... Feralis 3 however became a recruiter for the Imperial Navy, so that only Feralis 3 Navy would transport Feralis 1 and 2 Guard Regiments.
In the time spent training, the Guard units would move throughout all 4 Planets...
Feralis 1 was a Grassland, with large Forrests and Swamps here and there, but nowhere on the planet was hot enough or dry enough for deserts, it was just wet, and humid all year round. Feralis 2 was mostly dry, Savana, desert and large Salt lakes. It had vast quantities of water, but was fairly hot all year round. And Feralis 3 was chosen for the Navy because it was COLD. Imperial Navy vessels are always air conditioned, and are cold, as soldiers do not want to move around inside a warm or hot ship. The planet has Grassland, and Forrests (which often resembled alien pine trees) but snowed for 3.5 seasons of the 4 season year.
Petros was obviously a Forgeworld, and so its perfectly average temperatures and weather patterns made it a perfect urban warground practice site. A small section of the planet was colonised and built up to allow for Guard training. the only civilians who lived in these areas were those who helped with the training of the guard units.
My army is currently (1750points) composed of the Feralan 308th Mechanised Infantry Regiment and the Feralan 121st Artillery Support Regiment |
