First off please don't ask for sub4sub's i disagree with then, i will sub if i like your content
Secondly please actually be arsed to read my articles before rating them
Lastly my articles are very controversial to alot of the people that are into the hobby so if you disagree with my opinion thats fine and i would be glad to know it provided that it is worded into a moderatley sensible sentence.
Now a little about myself:
I like all sorts of wargames from star wars minis to haloclix.
but in my opinion games workshop produces the best wargames!
In 40k i have completed my first army which is black templars but ive played enough to know some good tricks. In fantasy i play undivided chaos with a slight hint of tzeenecht and in lotr i have been playing since the game came out and have a huge collection of all manner of armies.
unfortunatley i suck at painting but i make up for that with my great field tactics.
Current suggestions for Lotr players:
Suck at keeping your guys alive?
Try getting allies from the dwarf list, Durins folk. or if your evil try out some uruk hai or goblins (goblins act as a cheap barrier of 4/5 defence to keep your troops alive)
Having trouble passing courage tests in small games with generic heroes but dont want to take an expensive hero??
Then try out taking cirion as an ally, 6 courage when charging a terrifying enemy at only 55 points! and if youre evil try out a weak ringwraith for the same points but 1 less courage and magic flexibility!
Not very good at killing things?
In that case, get something from the sourcebook called "fall of the necromancer" cheap, high strength and fast units for evil and cheap, manouverable units with high fight values for good! |
