Dave and I have decided on our next Warhammer terrain project - an entire Space Marine city (or Imperial Guard city, whichever makes the most sense) overtaken by organic Tyranid structures.
This is a complete work in progress, meaning you can follow along as we chronicle our terrain building experiences.
Now, because this is a work in progress we would love to have your feedback. What kind of ideas do you have for us? What suggestions for improvement could you give? What things would you love to see?
Make sure you tell us!
So without further ado, here are the first pictures for this work in progress:
A simple Tyranid spire, unpainted:
A simple tank trap, made to be modular (unpainted):
The beginnings of our first building:

More tank traps:
Dan (one of our buddies) making a little crater (not much to do with the project, he just likes making craters…):

Some cool details in the building:

And even more details (Dave likes details):
And now, my contribution, some Tyranid spires! (the paint is only the first coat, I will be dry-brushing some other colours and adding ooze and such soon):
Let us know what you think!

P.S. Oh, and here is the complete gallery for you to enjoy:

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI think this is very professionally done, although i’d suggest smaller galleries of transitioning photos.
