Step 11 Apply codex gray.
After priming the upper tower walls with acrylic black paint, coat them with codex gray. Next, coat everything else with codex gray.
Step 12 Flooring
This step is very important in that it adds loads of realism to your structure. Begin by cutting the ends off a stack of popsicle sticks. I’m not going to say how many to do this for. That will depend on the structure you decide on making. Next, glue them on to the floors. (For full details on how to create wood flooring, refer to the article)
You’ll also want to accent the wood floors with snakebite leather (light brown). Then lightly dry brush with bestial brown.
Step 13 Destroy and paint the roof top
As you’ve seen in previous photos the bell tower is demolished from the back corner all the way down to the bottom. We’ll need to therefore destroy the roof top to match the subsequent levels.
Simply use your utility knife and carve out chunks of foam board in jagged shapes. Next, paint the edges with chaos black to add a scorched look.
Step 14 Tarnish the bell
Use fine grit sand paper or a sanding block to wear away your bell surface. Apply yellow ink then brown ink in generous amounts the give a tarnished look to the bell. You may now place the bell wherever you want. On the main floor of the bell tower, on the roof top level or even up on a built contraption.
Photos of finished Bell Tower coming soon…
